True was the third studio album by British band Spandau Ballet, released in March 1983. It was heavily influenced by jazz, soul, and R&B. It reached #1 on the UK charts, the top twenty in America and in numerous countries around the world. The title track was a top five single in America, and in 1991 was sampled by the spiritual hip-hop act PM Dawn on their single "Set Adrift on Memory Bliss", R&B music act Lloyd Polite "You (f. Lil Wayne)", Filipino singer Arnee Hidalgo The Philippine Singer from the Popstar Princess Sarah Geronimo and on rapper Nelly's track .
