"Midian" is the fourth studio album by English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. It was released on 30 October 2000 through Music for Nations. The album marked the return of guitarist Paul Allender and introduced drummer Adrian Erlandsson and keyboard player Martin Powell to the band’s lineup. It also featured narration by Doug Bradley, known for his roles in the films "Hellraiser" and "Hellbound". The album’s themes were primarily inspired by Clive Barker’s novel "Cabal" and its film adaptation "Nightbreed". According to vocalist Dani Filth, the album functions partly as a concept work, with the title referring to a .
