"Damnation and a Day" (subtitled "From Genesis to Nemesis...") is the fifth studio album by the English extreme metal band Cradle of Filth. It was released on 10 March 2003 through Sony Music. It is the band's only release on a major label, as the group later moved to Roadrunner Records. The album features performances by the Budapest Film Orchestra and the Budapest Film Choir, with a combined ensemble of 101 musicians and vocalists. Its lyrical themes are partly inspired by John Milton's epic poem "Paradise Lost". In addition to its Milton-inspired concept, the album includes standalone tracks such as .
