About
Buffalo Springfield had already disbanded when their third and final album was released, and none of these songs feature all five members. No surprise then that Last Time Around is stylistically diverse, though it practically glows with memorable songs. Alongside Neil Young's pretty, poignant "I Am a Child" and Stephen Stills' guitar-powered "Questions," country flavors seep through in bassist/producer Jim Messina’s retro shimmy "Carefree Country Day" and Richie Furay’s swaying, soulful “Kind Woman.”
