With the last vestiges of their pop-punk past thoroughly expunged, Turnover complete their maturation into a smooth, sophisticated indie-rock band on their third album. <i>Good Nature</i> is all luminous guitar jangle, hazy-headed harmonies, and otherworldly ambience, yielding effortlessly breezy dream-pop gems like “Super Natural” and “Curiosity.” But the soft-focus gauze conceals hard truths: Frontman Austin Getz sounds so blissfully chill on “Sunshine Type,” you might miss that its seemingly celebratory chorus (“Scream and shout/Throw your hands up”) actually chronicles a domestic dispute.
