About
The pure, clear voice of Ana Torroja shines on the finest moment from Spain's leading synth-pop band. This 1988 album is highlighted by "Une femme avec une femme," a soaring orchestral ballad about a lesbian couple and the social challenges they faced. To get the message across, they recorded it in French, Italian, and Spanish. Another tender ballad, "‘Eungenio’ Salvador Dali," salutes the painter who was then nearing death. And "Heroes de la Antartida" proves they could also deliver an elegant dance track.
