About

The Wailin' Jennys celebrate their 15th anniversary by reimagining a batch of their favorite tunes with their trademark three-part harmonies at the core. Their banjo- and fiddle-flecked take on Tom Petty's "Wildflowers" rubs shoulders with a starkly passionate, acoustic guitar-based version of Warren Zevon's "Keep Me in Your Heart." But Ruth Moody, Nicky Mehta, and Heather Masse are equally commanding in a cappella mode, delivering a hushed, gossamer vision of the hymn "The Old Churchyard" and sliding and diving through Hank Williams' sorrowful "Weary Blues From Waitin'" together in seemingly telepathic union.
