"In Sorte Diaboli" (Latin for "In league with the devil") is the seventh studio album by Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir, released in 2007. It is the band's first concept album. A promotional website for the album was created by Nuclear Blast, featuring a new promotional photograph and an audio sample. It was the last Dimmu Borgir album to feature ICS Vortex, Hellhammer, and Mustis. The album is set in medieval Europe and follows the story of a priest's assistant who begins to question his Christian faith and ultimately assumes the role of the Antichrist.
