"Eonian" is the ninth studio album by the Norwegian symphonic black metal band Dimmu Borgir. It was released on 4 May 2018 and was the band's first album of original material since "Abrahadabra" (2010). The album was also the fifth and final studio release to feature lead guitarist Galder before his departure from the band in August 2024. Production of "Eonian" began by at least 2012 but experienced several delays before its eventual release. The album was self-produced by the band, while engineering duties were handled by Jens Bogren. During the period between "Abrahadabra" and "Eonian", Dimmu Borgir renewed their .
