Sunshine Hit Me is the debut album from Isle of White band - The Bees. When the album was recorded the band was a duo consisting of Paul Butler and Aaron Fletcher, who wrote, performed and recorded the album together using a home studio in Butler's parent's garden. The album displays the band's range of influences, including Jamaican dub, afro-beat, 1960s psychedelic rock and Tropicalia as well as indie guitar pop. .
