About

Van Morrison's lost masterpiece- recorded in 1974 when he returned to Ireland for several months after a five (or so) year period of exile in the USA. It marks a return to the stream of conscious poetry and soft instrumentation that defined Astral Weeks - but it also packs some punches in the more blues /rocky 'Bulbs' and 'Cul-de-sac' (the later featuring one of Van's best moments of jazz/scat improvisionational singing). Sinead O' Connor has repeatedly referred to it as a masterpiece and inspiration. .
