One of hip-hop's most unique and instantly recognizable voices, Yonkers hero DMX was amongst the most popular and commercially successful MCs in the game throughout the late ‘90s and early ‘00s. His bark-infused flow, ultra-aggro style, and lyrics that were alternately bloodthirsty and spiritual won him fans all around the world, and helped him sell many millions of albums. <i>Greatest Hits With a Twist</i> is really two separate collections – the first half is a straight-up chronological mix of all his biggest singles, while the second half is a dozen remixes, most of them giving his songs a frantic, techno-style treatment, with freaky blip-beeps and racing BPMs. Either way, this includes all the classics; "Ruff Ryder Anthem," "Slippin'," "Party Up (Up In Here)," etc.
