I is the one-song-EP which runs for 21 minutes. Meshuggah followed up I with Catch Thirty-Three which is also a single song (this time clocking in at over 45 minutes) but separated into 13 different tracks. The song can be split into three definite sections, each representing a different style of Meshuggah’s past playing. The use of breakdowns separates the song into heavier and less heavy parts. By using this method the song can change style very often. .
