Eolian Minstrel features the 'classic' Vollenweider-sound with the voices of the two American singer/songwriters Eliza Gilkyson and Carly Simon. Andreas describes the new addition of the voice as an 'adventure' and an 'extended listening experience', which was somewhat different to his other, mainly instrumental albums. But it is not only the vocal enhancement, which makes Eolian Minstrel a special album; it is also the musical imprints and the many impressive contributions of a number of exceptional instrumentalists.
