Violet Bent Backwards Over the Grass is the debut audiobook by American singer, songwriter and poet Lana Del Rey. In December 2019, Del Rey announced that she would release a spoken-word album to accompany her first book, produced by Jack Antonoff. The album was scheduled to be released in January 2020, but after a long delay, on July 28, 2020 the official release happened. Part of the proceeds from sales of the album and book will be donated to the Navajo Water Project. .
