About

Clapton entered the new millennium doing what he'd come to do best, piecing together a grooving LP of softly sung ballads, bluesy covers, and rock ‘n’ roll barn burners. His cover of J.J. Cale’s "Travelin' Light" really heats up when the guitarist begins trading licks with Doyle Bramhall II, while "Believe in Life" stands among Clapton's best slow jams, its tender lyrics accentuated by backing vocals from R&B veterans The Impressions.
