"The Number of the Beast" is the third studio album by Iron Maiden, released on 22 March 1982 in the United States by "Harvest" and "Capitol Records", and on 29 March 1982 in the United Kingdom by "EMI Records". It is the band’s first album to feature Bruce Dickinson as vocalist and the last to include drummer Clive Burr. The album received both critical and commercial success, becoming Iron Maiden’s first album to top the UK Albums Chart and reach the top 40 of the US Billboard 200.
