"Piece of Mind" is the fourth studio album by English heavy metal band Iron Maiden. It was released on 16 May 1983 in the United Kingdom by EMI Records and in the United States by Capitol Records. The album marked the first appearance of drummer Nicko McBrain, who had previously played with the French band Trust. The album reached number three on the UK Albums Chart and received platinum certification in both the UK and North America. In December 1982, former drummer Clive Burr left the band due to personal and scheduling issues, and McBrain was recruited as his replacement. .
