About
Some 10 years into their recording career, Fishbone had experienced all the struggle, hype, and exasperation of the music industry, and cynicism rings through Chim Chim loud and clear. At the start, a voiceover announces that the band is "the only antidote that humanity will ever know"; two songs later Angelo Moore croons about poop in the distended thrash-funk of "In the Cube," then outdoes himself with "Nutmeg," 10 minutes of smoldering grindcore soul. In between, Busta Rhymes drops in to mosh-hop on "Psychologically Overcast."
