The 11th studio album by Gwar, Lust In Space, was released on August 18th, 2009, their first album since returning to Metal Blade. Lust in Space debuted at #96 on the Billboard top 200 Charts and according to Blabbermouth it was Gwar's highest position reached for the debut of an album. For the story, it explains how Gwar finally leaves Earth after stealing a Scumdog ship. Before they can leave, though, Cardinal Syn returns and plans to attack.
