Joel’s wide-ranging catalog gets a full airing in the main set, which includes the socialite broadside “Big Shot,” a loose-limbed take on his Big Apple ode “New York State of Mind,” and the cinematic Vietnam story “Goodnight Saigon.” After the ball drops, Joel lets loose, covering both Sly Stone and The Rolling Stones and giving “You May Be Right” a punchy workout.
