About
There’s a gentle touch of folk running through Dallas Green’s second City and Colour album. The trademark mellow, acoustic guitar of the Alexisonfire frontman’s solo project takes on subtle new hues in Bring Me Your Love: down-home harmonica on “Against the Grain,” fine lap steel on the brooding “Confessions,” and pedaling banjo strings on the introspective “What Makes a Man?” The results are hushed and rousing by turns—tender, emotive ballads to soothe heady days and sleepless nights.
