About
Chixdiggit! is the debut studio album by Canadian pop punk band Chixdiggit!, released on May 21, 1996, through Sub Pop Records. The album is the only band’s release on the label, as they were dropped from Sub Pop shortly after the album’s release. In 2006, Sub Pop refused to let the band sell copies of Chixdiggit! on their tour without paying retail price for each CD. Instead of buying the CDs, the band chose to re-record the album, titling it Chixdiggit! II, which would be released in 2007. .
