About
A project centred around Green Bay, Wisconisin's Kevin DeBroux, Pink Reason's Cleaning The Mirror (released in 2008) is a magnum opus of woozy drugged-up acoustic emissions. Mixing a little Hush Arbors with a whole lot of Jandek, DeBroux fashions a brand of detuned, almost impossibly slow stoner ballads headed by illustrative titles like 'Dead End' and 'Motherf**ker'. While the default setting of the album is at a supremely moribund death-blues crawl, there are times when the hyper-lo-fi productions stutter into life. In fact, the aforementioned 'Dead End' turns out to be one of the more upbeat numbers, complete with enthusiastic .
