About
Throughout the '80s, Night Ranger won the attention of myriad boys into heavy guitars and myriad girls into power ballads. Their music has proliferated through radio and movie soundtracks (“Sister Christian” hit a sweet spot of twisted grace in Boogie Nights, and “Secret to My Success” led the Michael J. Fox film of the same name), and the band recorded five albums that together sold more than 10 million copies. This set collects their essentials, including the all-American anthem “(You Can Still) Rock in America,” the deviously smart weeper “Sentimental Street,” and the Springsteen-lite of “When You Close Your Eyes.”
