The Undertones is the 1979 debut album by The Undertones. In 2000 Q magazine placed it at number 90 in its list of the 100 Greatest British Albums Ever. It was also listed in "1001 Albums You Must Hear Before You Die" which was selected and written by 90 leading international critics. Former BBC Radio 1 DJ John Peel often stated that Teenage Kicks was his favorite song of all time, going so far as to say "There's nothing you could add to it or subtract from it that would improve it."
