About
The third studio album by Delirious?, GLO is a wonderful blend of modern rock and worship. The sounds range from heavy to surreal, but Delirious? proves that they are just as competent with slow, ethereal styles as they are with pop-expressive melodies and driving rock. Additionally, Delirious? incorporates a full string quartet, the gospel lead of Sharlene Hector, a chorus of three bagpipes, the Arun Community Church Choir, the Grant Choir, DJ Kenny Mitchell, and even the Monks of Ampleforth Valley used for a traditional monasterial sound (recorded at Ampleforth Abbey, in Yorkshire). These diverse musical voices do not play .
