You’ll discover screw-the-man biker rock (Steppenwolf), bluesy psychedelia (The Jimi Hendrix Experience), West Coast folk rock (The Byrds), and stoned free association (The Holy Modal Rounders). Perhaps the oddest piece is "Kyrie Ellison Mardi Gras": Only the Age of Aquarius could produce a marriage of fuzzy garage rock and ancient Christian prayer by a band called The Electric Prunes.
