About

fishmonger is experimental artist underscores' highly-anticipated, 10-track debut album, released on March 25 of 2021. With its two flagship singles “Second hand embarrassment” and “Kinko’s field trip 2006”, fishmonger drummed up excitement prior to full release for its repeating mantra, a “new wave of the future!” The full release features appearances from longtime collaborator and electronic/indie artist Knapsack; experimental electronic artist 8485, and indie artist Maxwell Young. According to underscores during the MIDDLE OF THE ROAD RADIO 210421 intro this album was “driven by fate.” The golden bangus (milkfish) discussed in the 9th track—"The fish song"—was caught on underscores' birthday .
