I Wear the Face is the debut studio album by the American pop rock band Mr. Mister, released on March 27, 1984, by RCA Records. The album marked the official genesis of the group, formed by vocalist Richard Page and keyboardist Steve George following the dissolution of their previous band, Pages. Seeking a harder-edged, more radio-friendly sound compared to the jazz-fusion style of their earlier projects, they recruited guitarist Steve Farris and drummer Pat Mastelotto to complete the lineup.
