About

This is Brian Wilson’s love letter to his musical heroes George and Ira Gershwin. He recasts “Rhapsody In Blue” as a Beach Boys-style choral piece and injects some doo-wop into “Summertime,” but he also writes two new pieces based on fragments from the iconic songwriters: “Nothing But Love” is a whimsical shuffle with electric guitar and horns; “The Like In I Love You” is a starlit ballad, with Wilson tellingly crooning, “It’s more than harmony/when you sing with me it’s an entire symphony.”
