About
"Ceremony of Opposites" is the third studio album by Swiss extreme metal band Samael. It was released by Century Media Records and was the band's second release for the label following their departure from French label Osmose Productions. The album retains lyrical themes present on earlier releases, including references to Aleister Crowley, Satanism and blasphemy, while also incorporating elements of industrial music, a style that would become more prominent on subsequent albums. "Ceremony of Opposites" was produced by Waldemar Sorychta, who has also worked with bands such as Lacuna Coil, Tiamat and Moonspell. In 2005, the album was reissued together .
