Fresh off a highly publicized separation, P!nk let her rawest nerves electrify 2008’s <i>Funhouse</i>. “So What” is a cathartic pop anthem that will make anyone who’s ever had a broken heart feel 10 feet taller. On the title song, the singer plays the role of loose cannon, but that doesn’t mean she’s all bluster. The slow-burning piano ballad “Glitter in the Air” is a disarming admission of self-doubt and depression, while the raging “Sober” reveals an intimate and highly confessional portrait of alcoholism.
