Call of the Mastodon is a compilation of early songs from the heavy metal band Mastodon. It was released on February 7, 2006 by Relapse Records. All songs on this compilation originally appeared on the band's 9 Song Demo. The songs here have had new vocals recorded by bassist Troy Sanders and guitarist Brent Hinds, replacing the vocals of the band's original vocalist Eric Saner. The songs have also been given a new order, and the album has been given a significantly louder remastering. Five of the songs also appeared in different versions on the band's second EP Lifesblood; an .
