Innocent Victim is the eleventh album by Uriah Heep. It was recorded between July and september 1977 and released in November 1977. It features the same line-up as the previous album, Firefly. Although it wasn't too popular in the UK or the US, it did well in Australia, New Zealand and germany. "Free Me" was released as a single and reached #1 in New Zealand. It was re-relased as an expanded deluxe edition in 2004 with 6 bonus tracks, including session out-takes and 3 live versions recorded in 1979 (these are not the versions available on Live In Europe 1979). .
