This concert was originally recorded monaurally for radio broadcast. Recorded in concert at Koseinenkin Hall, Tokyo, Japan, July 22, 1966. Originally released as 2-LP set Impulse! AS-9246-2 (1973) "Leo" (three parts) and "Peace on Earth" (two parts) were broken up across LP sides. Personnel John Coltrane - soprano, alto and tenor saxophones, percussion Alice Coltrane - piano Pharoah Sanders - alto and tenor saxophones, bass clarinet, percussion Jimmy Garrison - bass Rashied Ali - drums Note: According to the Japan tour itinerary, which was reproduced in its entirety in both J.
