This album was originally released in 1986 on both cassette and vinyl LP formats and featured only the first 9 tracks. In 1988 Nettwerk released a CD version of this album which featured several bonus tracks that were absent from the cassette & vinyl LP versions. This agitated many fans at the time who felt they essentially had to buy this album twice to get all of the tracks, not an unfamiliar complaint from early Puppy fans after having to buy both cassette & LP versions of Bites in order to get all of the tracks of that particular release. .
