Vinnie Moore recorded the lead and rhythm guitars for Vicious Rumors's debut "Soldiers of the Night". After the recording of this album Vinnie Moore left the band to proceed with his solo career. Gary St. Pierre was a member of Marty Friedman's first band Hawaii before he joined Vicious Rumors. .
