Bad Company’s second album, <i>Straight Shooter</i>, takes off from where the band’s self-titled debut left off. “Good Lovin’ Gone Bad,” “Feel Like Makin’ Love,” and “Shooting Star” became lasting FM rock staples, influencing every hard rock band to follow and giving Kid Rock plenty of ideas. This 2015 remaster adds 14 bonus tracks, including the b-side “Whiskey Bottle,” alternate takes, different versions, and mixes that provide deeper insights into the solid UK rock quartet. A “harmonica version” and the take before the master of “Feel Like Makin’ Love” illustrate how subtle changes can affect a song.
