About

Clint Black was a '90s master of sweet ‘n’ rowdy country rock, but on this album, he showed his range. "That Something In My Life" is a tender ballad perfectly suited for country radio, while the equally romantic "Our Kind of Love” digs deep into the roots of Americana, passing its melody between fiddle, mandolin, guitar, and harmonica. "Ode to Chet” even pays tribute to one of country's great guitar gods, with Black reminiscing about his hero's licks while flashing a few of his own.
