About

Wild and Free is about bringing people together, and on the lilting, organ-punctuated title track, Marley gets together with one of the last artists you'd expect: Woody Harrelson. Their message, sustained throughout this breezy LP, is that we must strive to do better by the planet and its people, but thankfully, we have reggae to sustain our efforts. On soulful lullaby "Welcome to the World," music gives the singer strength to bring a new child into this turbulent world, while "Get Out of Town" shows Marley dancing the genre back to Blondie-style New Wave.
