About
Following abundant sonic experiments in the ‘80s, the Ramones entered the ‘90s committed to a fierceness buoyed by their usual adolescent silliness. “Cabbies On Crack” has a relentless guitar riff that gives way to a tale of a risky ride in the back seat of a New York cab. “Touring” sounds like early Ramones in both speed and simplicity, with a chorus chant of “touring, touring, is never boring.” A decade had turned, and the Ramones had found a new way to stay the same.
