There’s no Christian artist more qualified to record modern worship songs than Rebecca St. James. Years before it became trendy, the Australian singer/songwriter praised her Creator with industrial pop ballads and smoldering dance tracks. Here St. James puts her own stamp on such outstanding compositions as Marie Barnett’s “Breathe,” Jeremy Casella’s “More Than the Watchman” and Marc Byrd and Steve Hindalong’s “God of Wonders.” “Above All” sparkles with acoustic guitar and ‘80s-esque techno beats, while “Quiet You With My Love” is accented by a string quartet.
