About
This album features some of Karen Carpenter's finest live performances, although they comprise only around 27 minutes of the 44 minute long album. Her performances were outstanding; very technically accomplished and refined, but she is more generally famed for the extraordinary beauty of her voice which is very evident on these renditions. Although when they are compared to the studio versions, these recordings sound less refined, they have even more authenticity precisely because they were recorded live. .
