About

Mary Lattimore and Julianna Barwick are a creative pairing that make almost too much sense together. The former’s gently psychedelic approach to classical harp has made her an in-demand collaborator in indie’s woolier confines alongside an increasingly expansive solo discography, while Barwick’s infinite-layers approach to ambient vocal pop achieves a similar celestial grandeur. Their first collaborative album was recorded across nine days in Paris’ cavernous Philharmonie de Paris and features a co-write from Brian Eno’s brother and frequent collaborator Roger Eno—as well as, most fittingly for this pair, a cover of Vangelis’ “Rachel’s Song” from the composer’s influential Blade Runner score.
