About

This musical offshoot of the famed burlesque troupe The Pussycat Dolls debuted with PCD, which combines the blippy dance pop of mid-’00s radio with confident boasts and no-nonsense attitude. On the dance-floor taunt “Don’t Cha” and the sultry “Buttons,” lead Doll Nicole Scherzinger’s commanding vocal performances add an extra dash of coquettishness, while the shimmying “Beep” lets her strut her stuff over glossy strings. On the pillowy “Stickwitu,” the Dolls get tender, proclaiming love in whispered harmony.
