This live album was recorded during Sade’s massively successful tour in 2011, as the London band returned to the stage after a whopping 10-year hiatus. And you can hear just how much they were missed: The audience roars its appreciation for husky, understated renditions of “Soldier of Love” (studded with militaristic drums), “Kiss of Life” (with its driving, groovy bass), and “Love Is Found” (scored with strident strings rubbing up against a mellow hip-hop beat).
