Kat Moda EP is a 1996 EP by Jeff Mills, released on his Purpose Maker label. The record is a defining statement of Mills’ mid-1990s minimal Detroit techno phase, emphasizing precision, repetition and functional DJ tools over melody or narrative. The EP features four tracks — The Bells, Kat Race, Alarms and Cyclone — all built around stripped-down rhythmic structures, sharp percussive elements and controlled use of space.
