About

These Dubliners presented a new take on Celtic soul music with their 2008 eponymous debut and followed it with 2011’s <i>Science & Faith</i>. Both albums spawned monster hits that radiated a joyous spirit despite being woven with minor-chord melancholy. While the three-piece uses the same mixture of guitar, bass, and drums that populate any number of rock bands, The Script is equally indebted to hip-hop and R&B. For its aptly titled third full-length, <i>#3</i>, the gentlemen worked with will.i.am on the lead single, “Hall of Fame”; it’s among the most uplifting and inspiring tracks in The Script’s catalog and is perfect fodder to fuel your next workout.
