Suffocation is the fifth studio album by American brutal death metal band Suffocation. It was released in 2006 by Relapse Records. The album is far less technical than their previous releases. The song Prelude to Repulsion is a re-recording of the track of the same name on Breeding the Spawn. A music video was made for the song Abomination Reborn. The cover art and symbol were done by John Zig, a well known tattoo artist from Texas, who has done tattoos for several of the band's members. The monsters that are scavenging on the skeletons in the background resemble the .
